T. Sathyaraj — Founder & Managing Director

T. Sathyaraj is the Founder and Managing Director of ION INDIA LIMITED. He founded the company in 2015 and has led it since incorporation, developing it from a water-treatment engineering business into a vertically integrated manufacturer of water-purification and IoT systems.

He leads operations from the company’s manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, where product design, fabrication, assembly, testing and dispatch are carried out on one site. Operations at the facility are certified to ISO 9001:2015.

As Managing Director he oversees engineering across the company’s 11 brands, covering domestic RO purification, water softening, air purification, filters and spares, and commercial RO plants from 50 to 1,000 LPH. He has driven the in-house development of the company’s TDS-reader hardware, IoT controllers and telemetry platform, which are engineered for ION INDIA products rather than sourced off the shelf.

His operating model is a vertically integrated design-to-dispatch approach: product design, PCB and controller development, cabinet fabrication and quality control are kept within the company so that every unit can be traced, tested and supported after sale.

Under his direction the company sells through distributors and institutional channels as well as its own e-commerce platform, DraQua (draqua.online), and maintains warranty and service support for products in the field. He is based at the Hosur facility, which also serves as the company’s management office.
